Starting Windsor Lane Decor was more than just a business venture for me; it was a lifeline during some of my darkest times. I began this journey while battling severe anxiety and panic attacks, and even now, I still deal with bouts of depression. Today happens to be one of those tough days. On the outside, I might look happy and put together, but inside, I often feel overwhelmed and lost. It's a feeling I believe many of us can relate to.
On days like today, when personal and business responsibilities seem too much to handle, I turn to what brings me comfort and strength: positive quotes and humor. These simple yet powerful words have helped me find my way back to a place of calm and clarity. A lot of my designs reflect this because I know firsthand how impactful they can be.
Here are a few of my favorite wood signs with sayings that help me get through the hard days:

This message is a gentle reminder that we don't need to be perfect or have everything figured out to make progress. It encourages me to start where I am and use the resources available to me, no matter how small they may seem.

One of the most comforting thoughts for me is knowing that each new day brings an opportunity to reset and try again. This sign embodies that hope and serves as a daily reminder that it's never too late to start over.
3. "I am enough just as I am"
This simple yet profound message is a reminder that even when I feel like I'm falling short, I'm enough just as I am. It's a sign that hangs in my store, a daily affirmation that helps me push through self-doubt and insecurities.
4. "Faith Makes All Things Possible"
Faith has played a significant role in my journey. Believing in something greater than myself gives me the strength to face challenges head-on. This sign is a testament to the power of faith and its ability to make the impossible possible.
5. "Life Is Tough But So Are You"
During my toughest moments, remembering my inner strength has been incredibly comforting. I turned this design into a iphone wallpaper as well and see it every time I pick up my phone, helping me to hold on to hope even when things seem hopeless.
On particularly challenging days, I also find solace in listening to positive messages on YouTube. Hearing words of encouragement and wisdom helps me regain my focus and perspective.
Running Windsor Lane Decor has been a journey of resilience and growth. Every sign I create carries a piece of my story and the strength I’ve found along the way.
